Masia CasaJoana
Our rural house dates from 1358 and is located near Barcelona, in an exceptional place that is framed between two Natural Parks, that of Sant Llorenç de Munt and Sierra del Obac on the one hand and Montserrat on the other.
It is also an exit point for mountain bike and hiking routes, as it is located in the middle of the GR-5 and different signposted routes such as La Piedra Seca, El Rincón de las Fuentes, and the Els 3 Monts route.
Another of the most precious riches in the area has always been the abundance of fountains and torrents that make up the green and rugged landscape, with pine and oak forests that have been occupying the old vine crops.
During the 18th and 19th centuries, the Casajoana rural house, like all the surrounding ones, dedicated many of its lands to the cultivation of the vineyard. The phylloxera supposed the disappearance of these, but from that time the margins have been distributed throughout the property, highlighting a set of stone barracks.
