In the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt and l'Obac, you will find the Montcau (1,056 m) that is located between the Bages and the Vallès Occidental.
On the northern slope, just beside the banks of the Llobregat, we find the Valles del Montcau that presents geography of rugged terrain where mountain ranges are separated by valleys crossed by torrents where we find abundant vegetation. In addition, the term conserves specific elements such as countless sources, caves, and paths characteristic of a relief in which water has caused significant erosion and have marked the human occupation of the area. We also find Balmes Obrades which are cavities that have been used as a shelter.
Mura and Talamanca are two picturesque villages that retain all their rural charm with streets and squares around the church, in the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt and Obac, are surrounded by huts, torrents, gorges, caves, fountains, and bays you can discover following one of the many paths and trails.
